A few years ago I developed an interest in vacuum tube audio electronics.  Since then I have designed and built a number of amplifiers and other audio equipment.  I wasn't an expert designer when I started, and there is still plenty I could learn.  I have gotten an idea how each component affects the sound though.  The result is a sound system that would never appear in a High End Audio magazine, but which sounds quite good to me.

What's New?

I recently switched to high efficiency speakers. A pair of front horn loaded wide range cone speakers covers frequencies above 140Hz. Below that I have a pro sound woofer mounted in a Karlson enclosure.
